Almost 50% of 35-44 year-olds expect to use UK private healthcare in the next year, according to IHPN. This could be reflective of a shift in attitude towards considering private healthcare. Endora Health is a new platform which aims to centralise information, allowing people to find and compare services across the UK.

Going Private 2025 Report By IHPN

Private healthcare is more commonly being seen as “essential” for younger working-age people, according to the Independent Healthcare Providers Network (IHPN).

The Going Private 2025 report showed 49% of people aged 35-44 year olds expect to pay for treatment in the coming year. This could be reflective of a shift in mindset; specifically, that people are no longer seeing private healthcare in the UK as just a luxury, but rather a necessary part of healthcare within the UK.

The Relevance of Private Healthcare

Key findings from the IHPN report show:

  • Over 7 in 10 people across the UK would consider using private healthcare.
  • 49% of 35-44 year-olds expect to pay for private care within the next year.
  • Openness spans regions and socio-economic groups.

This demonstrates that considering private healthcare is not reserved for the wealthy, it’s relevant for people across various age groups, regions, and professional backgrounds.

How Endora Health Can Support Access to Private Healthcare

Navigating private healthcare options can be challenging and frustrating. Endora Health is launching with the primary aim of providing a central platform where users can:

  1. Discover and compare private healthcare services using, or partnered with, regulated facilities across the UK.
  2. Access information on guide pricing, reviews, and before-and-after results.
  3. Explore options and services.

However, it is important to note: it does not provide medical advice or treatment.

Currently, as of the time of writing this article (12th November 2025), the website is being developed and has started with breast surgery services e.g. breast augmentation.

  2. Private Medical Insurance: 24% of people use private healthcare because their insurance covers it, up from 20% last year.

Types of Services

Additionally, private healthcare is used across the full spectrum of care (Going Private 2025 Report):
